Winter Legacy -4.3-

Later Hayley sat in the hot tub with her sister Amelia and their blood-father Cameron. She had told them her worries, they both warned her against rebelling.

"She will kill you and me." Amelia said, "For the mere fact that I'm your sister...Hayley please."

"Fine, but I'm at my breaking point, after this mission I'm gone."

Later that evening Hayley had put her wedding dress back on and she had no idea why. It was too tight around the abdomen and it squished her breasts up against her body. Her hair kept on getting stuck in her chain, but she had slipped it back on.

Finally exhausted by her own thoughts and pacing, Hayley climbed into bed beside Cupid. He was sleeping again, he was always sleeping, it was his brain's way of trying to catch up with and process all the new information. 

The next day Hayley bit him again, this time to solidify the bond between them, that way she would be able to control the newborn vampire and not have to worry about him rampaging through Sunset Valley, leaving a bloody trail behind him, or at least that is what she told herself.

Hayley needed to feel close to someone, she hadn't felt close to anyone, not since she attacked Amelia and sentenced her to an eternity of misery under Shawn's hand, their relationship had been clouded by guilt. Hayley would enjoy the time she would have with Cupid though, a will as strong as his would be hard to break, as soon as his transformation was complete, give or take a few days, memories would flood him and he would undoubtedly hate her, but at least he wouldn't be able to kill her, Hayley made sure of that.

"You won't kill me Cupid Winter, you will want to desperately for what I've done to you, but you won't be able to." She gazed into his deep green eyes and smiled, he smiled back stupidly. She flooded his mind with everything she felt, her feelings for him as well as her own fears and insecurities.

Before long Hayley found she was pregnant, her heart fell, she was having children so they could be Shawn's pawns. Cupid shifted in the bed behind her, suddenly Hayley's eyes filled with tears, she was overwhelmed. Despite her tears the woman laughed, she had not cried since she was human.

Cupid was slowly coming out of his trance, he was aware that the baby was his, conscious enough to feel an emotional attachment to his unborn child. Hayley indulged him, but she was unsure of how he would feel once he completely snapped back to reality.

She had him write thank you letters for the many gifts they had received, gifts were still pouring in from every vampire in Shawn's clan.

Eventually the final transformation took place and Cupid was fully a vampire but he was not yet himself.

Cupid blinked his glowing eyes, taking in the new sensations but not being overwhelmed by them, Hayley had prepared him for this.

Hayley got bigger and bigger, soon the baby began to move within her and eventually she was able to read its thoughts. There weren't very many of them, mostly just feelings actually, enjoyment of her voice and Cupid's, discomfort at being poked and prodded by people and peacefulness at the warmth that surrounded it.

And then it as time for the baby to come, it had been twenty-five years since she had felt pain, and the feeling of a baby trying to rip its way out of her body was certainly the worst pain she had ever felt.

The Winters were living on the lap of luxury now, they traveled around town in a limo, which was easy going on Hayley's back.

After the birth of the new baby, Shawn sent the Winters a gift to express her pleasure at the newest clan member. A butler to assist with household chores, caring for the baby and to provide a snack. Delvin was curious about his new master's blank look.

Angel, although she was a new baby was well aware of her surroundings. She responded to the people around her and quickly learnt how to demand attention of all of them.

Cupid took to his new daughter immediately, he spent all of his time with the child. He gazed into her beautiful lavender eyes and something inside him snapped. 

He waited all day for Hayley to come home and he roared at her. She nibbled her nail nervously but stood staring at him, waiting for his temper to subside. It did immediately when his eyes rested on her rounding stomach. Wordlessly Cupid left the room, he went to the garage, jumped into Agnes' car and sped away from his home.
